International Flights to resume with limited Operations
International flights in and out of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea are likely to resume by mid next week with limited operations.
SOE Controller David Manning announced in the daily COVID-19 briefing yesterday.
He says he’s working with the Immigrations Department to have international flights returning on a limited capacity as of mid-next week.
Manning says SOE restrictions are reviewed daily to ensure the balance is right between the health and safety of people.
Meantime, the SOE Controller says schools will resume on the 27th of this month.
He says protocols are being developed as to how schools and other services will operate in a new environment.
