PNG Opposition to move Vote of No Confidence early next year
The Opposition is adamant that it will still go ahead in moving a Vote of No Confidence Motion against the O'Neill/Dion Government, when Parliament resumes early next year.
Opposition Leader Don Polye made this known when speaking on NBC Television's Current Affairs Program.
Mr. Polye says the Opposition believes that they would have successfully overthrown the current government, if there were no dirty tactics used to avoid the motion from being introduced. He said, he is still persisting for the motion to be tabled, because there is evidence of widespread mismanagement of the country's economy, and this government is embroiled in a lot of high level corruption cases, and this warrants a change in government.Mr. Polye added that the effects of this government's mismanagement is reflected in the lack of cash liquidity in the country and the governments move to again move to obtain an additional 3 billion kina loan among other issues.
