PNG Woman vying for a Council Membership of an Australian City Council

A Papua New Guinea woman is vying for a Council Membership in a city in Australia. Flora Pondorile of Manus Province , Papua New Guinea but now lives in Cairns in Australia for the last 18 years is campaigning to become a council member of the city of Cairns in Australian.

Flora is competing with other Australians in the race .  If elected, Flora will be the first Papua New Guinean and a Melanesian woman to enter Australian politics.

PNG and Melanesian community is Cairns can support her to make her dreams come through.
