The level of Sepik River drops
The level of Mighty Sepik River has dropped in the last two days following 2 very hot sunny days after continuous rains last week.
A Community Leader from Ambunti Jamie Asa says the rains have caused the river to flood nearby houses causing difficulties to daily movement of people but it has gone down already.
He says the people can now be able to go about in their daily gardening and fishing and other daily activities.
Mr Asa also encouraged families to keep their children in their watch as the water level just dropped and that does not mean that it is okay to leave children do whatever they want in the river or elsewhere along the river as anything bad can and could happen to them. Photo credit: intravelnews.com
