PNG Politics : Enga Governor Ipatas Joins Opposition Camp

Enga Governor Sir Peter Ipatas (Center) joins alternative government 

Enga Governor Sir  Peter Ipatas  has joined  alternative Government camp at Laguna Hotel in Port Moresby. Sir Ipatas resigned from ruling PNC party last week but he did not announce which group he would join for the looming Vote of No Confidence against Prime Minister Peter O'Neill.

Sir Ipatas and his People’s Party Team today (Monday)  officially  joined the opposition camp.

Peter Ipatas is also raising his hands up for the Prime Ministers Post. He told his people in Enga that he will be vying for the  Prime Ministers post in the coming VONC.
