New Ireland Side set to Enter 2020 Digicel Cup Competition
The inclusion of Ailan Chiefs to take part in the 2020 Digicel Cup Competition is welcome news for many.
That is according to interim Board Chairman of New Ireland Rugby League Dennis Gati.
He made this comment following the announcement of the league’s 5 year development plan.
He says the aim of the 5 year plan is to create, administer and utilize rugby league as a sporting code that can be regarded as New Irelanders premier family sport.
He continues the Ailan Chiefs participation in the premier league competition next year is also the next step in the game’s evolution for the province.
