Former PNG PM O'Neill's arrest Warrant case further Extended
The stay order on the warrant of Arrest for former PNG Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has been further extended in court today to Thursday 31st of October 2019.
Young and William Lawyers representing Mr O’Neill say when the case returns the arguments of whether the stay order should remain will be heard.
The court next week will also be hearing an application seeking leave for a judicial review on the validity of the Warrant of Arrest.
A warrant of Arrest was issued for the arrest of Peter O’Neill on the 11th of October .
It is understood this is in relation to an alleged corruption case regarding a community funded project in Madang.
