Basil's new United Labour Party to negotiate Wages and Working Condition terms

The newly launched political party, United Labour Party, is said to be the mouthpiece for unions and working class Papua New Guineans in Parliament to negotiate wages and working condition terms.

That’s from Party Leader Sam Basil at the party launching in Port Moresby last night.

Mr Basil says the subject of policy priorities of the United Labour Party to take PNG forward is to regulate relations between workers union members and employers, taking collective action to enforce the terms of unions claims and raise new demands on behalf of union members.
